Creating beautiful memories.....Watch-Learn-Be inspired

Wednesday 9th May 2018
09:30 – 17:30

76 Moorland Road, Burslem, Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ST6 1DY

On Wednesday 9th of May, Claire will go through everything you need to know about newborn photography, from posing with safety to session styling.

With this workshop Claire will be working with the Stand in baby doll SIB and in the afternoon we will have a newborn model, you will be observing throughout the day. You will not be taking images on the day but concentrating on posing and taking it all in. Many people find they learn better this way and Claire is able to achieve more poses as you omit the wait time with photographers taking their own images.

You will be able to take pull back images for your own reference with a phone or digital camera.

Running from 9am until 5:30pm, with a light lunch and refreshments included.

You will learn the appropriate safety measures you should take in a newborn shoot and furthermore, find out how to style your sessions and prepare the parents.

The day will be split into 4 parts,

Safety, session styling and parent prep
Flow posing on the bean bag
Safety in props, setting up and prop flow

The day will include watching how Claire designs the newborn shoot, poses and soothes the newborn models and manages the parents expectations.

Other areas will include the easy wrapping techniques Claire uses day to day to keep her babies happy and calm and information on the shooting areas she uses.

Delegates will be invited to help Claire with spotting the babies for safety, and also to help with wrapping techniques.

You are invited to bring along your own doll or teddy bear to wrap as Claire gently wraps both the SIB doll and the newborn baby.

76 Moorland Road, Burslem, Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ST6 1DY

Cost for the workshop is £175 for Guild Members of £350 for Non-Members
