Glenn Norwood (Main Stage & Workshop)

Glenn has been working in the professional photography industry since 1990 and has a studio in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

In this time he has worked in many disciplines from commercial to social photographic genres, but have always been fascinated with Fashion and Beauty photography, specialising in this field now for the last 15 years.

Known for how he pushes creative boundaries to capture unique images his work has won him many awards over the years including Northern Ireland Photographer of the Year and he has been a recipient of the Kodak European Gold Award on no less than on three occasions.

Glenn is a qualified member of both the British Institute of Professional Photographers and the Guild of Photographers. He is a sought-after trainer who runs workshops and has created online training material for the Photographer Academy, Engage and Pixapro amongst others, as well as speaking at events such as the Photography Show.

This session will give you an insight into his view of Beauty and Fashion Photography.

With a strong emphasis on the creative, he will talk about how to push creative boundaries, capture unique images and pose models to achieve new angles, as well as edit work to the highest of standards.

NOV 14TH - 13:00 - ‘Lights .. Camera .. Fashion’ - Glenn Norwood

The world of fashion photography is an area that can test a photographer to the limits both technically and creatively.

This workshop, delivered by photographer Glenn Norwood, will give you an excellent insight into the world of fashion photography focusing on all elements needed to create highly effective and creative images.

Glenn has won multiple awards for his powerful and creative work (including no less than 3 Kodak Gold Awards). He will show you step by step how to push your creative boundaries and succeed in the world of fashion photography.

He will cover many topics including the technical aspects of capturing amazing images and the lighting equipment needed, building and working with a great team of creatives, and working and posing with models.

With a strong emphasis on the creative, this workshop will benefit many – whether it is to help take your photography to the next level or for those contemplating breaking into the fashion photography business.
