Keeping It Light In Newborn Photography

In newborn photography, less is often more. In this workshop, Magda Bright shares how she creates striking award-winning images using cream and neutral backdrops, thoughtful props, and natural, simple posing. Magda will break down her creative process, from the spark of an idea through to styling, lighting, and execution, showing how keeping it light in tone, palette, and approach can lead to extraordinary results.

Friday 9am-12pm

Magda Bright

Magda Bright is a multi–award-winning newborn photographer, Master Craftsman, and the Guild of Photographers’ Newborn Photographer of the Year. With over a decade of experience and a signature style built on soft, light backdrops and timeless simplicity, Magda has created images that have been recognised across the world.

When she’s not in the studio, Magda is a mum of three, which means she’s no stranger to juggling creativity with chaos, and she knows firsthand that sometimes the best ideas are born in the quietest (or noisiest!) moments. Her workshops are all about sharing knowledge generously, keeping things simple, and yes… keeping it light.
