Introduction to Studio Light with Simon Burfoot
Are you ready to elevate your photography and master the art of shaping and controlling light? Hosted by Simon Burfoot, The Light Doctor, in association with Elinchrom.

Whether you’re a beginner, an enthusiast, or an experienced photographer, this workshop is for you. Users of all camera brands are invited to come along, learn, and improve their skills.
Working with a model, Master simple one & two light setups and understand the differences between hard vs. soft and matt vs. specular light sources.
Learn how lighting impacts your subject, including in-camera skin smoothing and managing exposure through aperture.
Discover how to control light using the correct light shapers.
Gain hands-on experience with studio lighting techniques to save time in post-production and get it right in-camera.
By the end of the day, you’ll leave with the skills and confidence to recreate lighting setups, understand key techniques, and apply them to your own photography.

Simon Burfoot
As a skilled photographer and lighting tutor with over 30 year’s experience, “The Light Doctor,” offers individual and group training sessions in studio and on location covering a range of lighting techniques and genres. He teaches for a variety of prestigious organisations. As well as being the Technical Director at Elinchrom UK, Simon also serves as an ambassador for Loxley Colour.
