With your ticket purchase for the day, your entry to the Image Competition is included! (Two entries per person permitted.)
Your image(s) must be of high resolution, with a minimum of approximately 1200px on the shortest side. Entries are to be sent via Wetransfer to email@example.com by midnight January 31st 2021.
Once you have purchased your ticket, look out for the thank you page & an email from us! (Check your spam folder for it too!)
The event will be recorded, and it will be available for a short period of time after it has finished (approx. 48 hours) to download and keep a copy for yourself!
If you can’t join us live for the whole day but really want to watch and get involved, you don’t have to miss out! Just get your ticket to secure your place for a download, so that you can watch it back at a time to suit you!

Laura will present her visit to see the Snow Monkeys at Jigokudani Monkey Park in Japan! Along with information on the venue, Laura will share a selection of the resulting images, information on settings and gear, and her thought process when taking the images.

Join Lynne as she takes us through how to achieve creative, storytelling images with children, outside using natural light.

Join Neil as he talks to us about how he takes his fabulous landscape images. Visiting the approaches, practicalities and workflow of his stunning landscapes.
11:45 - Dave Wall - 'How to make Money Whilst you Sleep!' with Stock Photography
Dave is going show you what stock photography is all about. That anyone can succeed in it. That it isn’t dead!
He is also even going to cover the all important... the 'how much do you get paid?' question!!

Do you like macro photography? Are certain elements getting in the way of taking that shot you wanted? Well, why not bring those critters inside!?
Neal will be talking about keeping and shooting your own invertebrates in a home studio setting. So...an Insight into Insect Photography - they have feelings too, you know?!
13:30 - Nick Brown - 'Finding the Light' in your Urbanscapes
Our first ever Founders Cup winner will be talking about his brilliant monochrome architectural photography and his achievements with The Guild of Photographers so far.
14:00 - Lynne Harper - One Year on with The Guild's Photographer of The Year (POTY) 2019 Winner!
“Winning the Guild’s Photographer of the Year 2019 was completely unexpected and overwhelming. I think it’s taken a whole year just for it to sink in! The title has given me a determination to push my skills even further by experimenting in new genres and also delivering online training to fellow photographers.”
Lynne will be sharing her recent IOM successes as well as her lockdown family portraits project. She hopes that her story will inspire others to set themselves goals and work hard to achieve them!
