Day One – Friday 4th February 2022.
A day packed full of amazing photographers…
10:00-11:00 Karen Riches – ‘Poochy Portraits’
Karen will be talking about our 4 legged friends and how to photograph them – really REALLY well – trust us – her Pawtraits are amazing.
11:30-12:30 Callum Harrison – ‘Adventures of a Master Craftsman Panel’
Callum will present and talk through his Master Craftsman Panel as he did to the judges in September last year where he steps back in time covering a monumental event for us visually. Built from the ground up this panel is considered a sensitive subject covering historical content but one we think you will be enthralled by.
12:30-13:30 LUNCH HOUR*
13:30-14:30 David Conway – ‘Honey I shrunk my subjects!’ Macro Photography!
Aside from his usual work (weddings that he does VERY well) David likes to put his hand to other genres, inclusive of our tiny critter friends. All things Macro in this hour!
1500-1600 Saraya Cortaville & Guild Panel Member Pals – ‘Let’s discuss Judging…’
Panel member Saraya will be leading this discussion with fellow panel members talking about what makes a great image and what makes a great judge! This is going to be a really informative and interesting session.
With this ticket you have an entry into the Print Competition for Saturday!
Requirements are as follows…
ASAP: Send your entry in high res via Wetransfer to email@example.com titled ‘Your name: Photohubs Crewe Print Comp 22′ by midnight January 10th 2022. If we receive a high number of entries we will carry out a sift of images and contact the authors on/by Monday 15th January to advise to get their image printed in time for submission for the print competition on the day…
Print Requirements for on the day: Your image should be a minimum of 12″ X 10″ and placed on a 16″ X 12″ or 20″ X 16″ mount board and handed to a Photohubs team member on reception by 1pm on Saturday February 5th 2022.
*A drink on arrival is provided (up to 10am). Lunch is not provided but you can bring your own and there is a restaurant on site serving beautiful food and refreshments – we will have a facility to pre-order/pre-book at the beginning of the day as the restaurant can get busy.
We will also have a simple but effective traffic light sticker system in place for every attendee, so that you can express with ease whether you’re happy to hug (green), happy with elbow or fist bumps (amber), or socially distancing (red). This way we can keep everyone happy and safe within their own preferred boundaries!
