Description
Day Two – Saturday 5th February 2022.
Another day full of fantastic photographers…(have you seen day one yet too?)
10:00-11:00 Gemma Sains – ‘Injecting Personality into your Portraits!’
Two of the most important things in portraiture are to capture personality and to create a reaction within your viewer. Whether they are for clients or even self portraits, Gemma’s are brilliantly executed and superbly creative; they will 100% make you smile, they will inspire you to inject lots of personality into yours and maybe even give you a push to capture your own self portrait.
11:30-12:30 Ivan Trotman – ‘Never mind the ISO, Taste the Spiders!‘
As photographers one of our favourite things to do is to capture the many wonders of the world, through our own lens. A personal journey into photography and beyond.
12:30-13:30 LUNCH BREAK
13:30-14:30 Heather Burns – ‘The Good, The Bad and (how to avoid) The Ugly!’
The do’s and dont’s of composite image creation. Heather is the queen of composite imagery; join us as she shows us how to build a great composite – and how not to!
1500-1600 Live Judging Print Competition* with Two of the Guild’s Panel Members
Due to popular demand, the PhotoHubs Print Competition is back again!
This is a great opportunity to bring along your prints and have them judged LIVE. There is a great prize awaiting the winner! Included in your day pass is the option to enter an image in to the competition – free of charge! This years judges will be announced soon!
*Print Competition Requirements…
ASAP: Send your entry in high res via Wetransfer to rebekah@photohubs.co.uk titled ‘Your name: Photohubs Crewe Print Comp 22′ by midnight January 10th 2022. If we receive a high number of entries we will carry out a sift of images and contact the authors on/by Monday 15th January to advise to get their image printed in time for submission for the print competition on the day…
Print Requirements for on the day: Your image should be a minimum of 12″ X 10″ and placed on a 16″ X 12″ or 20″ X 16″ mount board and handed to a Photohubs team member on reception by 1pm on Saturday February 5th 2022.
*A drink on arrival is provided (up to 10am). Lunch is not provided but you can bring your own and there is a restaurant on site serving beautiful food and refreshments – we will have a facility to pre-order/pre-book at the beginning of the day as the restaurant can get busy.
We will also have a simple but effective traffic light sticker system in place for every attendee, so that you can express with ease whether you’re happy to hug (green), happy with elbow or fist bumps (amber), or socially distancing (red). This way we can keep everyone happy and safe within their own preferred boundaries!
