PHOTOHUBS webinars

‘Bringing Events Into Your Home’

networking on bicycles with intentional camera movement

WEBINARS DESIGNED TO INSPIRE,  EDUCATE & elevate your skills

In 2015, PhotoHubs events were launched with the idea of providing high-quality photographic education and inspiration (with a relaxed, fun side, too) at affordable prices.

We started offering online events during the first pandemic ‘lockdown’ in March 2020 (two free sessions a day at that point) and have continued such sessions since then, as we appreciate that not everyone can attend our in-person events.

Our online webinars are our way of bringing PhotoHubs, highly regarded photographers and business experts into your home for you to watch live or ‘on demand’ at your convenience.

Every session is different – some live and some pre-recorded, some free and some paid, but all aim to inspire and educate in a relaxed way …

All you need to do is browse, register and enjoy!

You can still register to watch the recordings for at least 4 weeks after the stated go-live date

In most cases the link to webinars will be emailed to those who have registered on the morning of the session.

* Those registered get exclusive access to the relevant session for 4 weeks after the stated go-live date – For added security a Zoom account is needed to view the sessions (free accounts are available) – Members of the Guild of Photographers receive a discount on paid sessions.

Just F*ing Shoot It - Boudoir with Victoria Baptiste - Flux Studios

Victoria is a Badass Boudoir Photographer, educator, and professional believer in getting out of your own damn way.

Date:  15th September 2026
Time: 19:30 – 20:30

Summary

Somewhere along the way, photographers started waiting. Waiting for the perfect camera, the perfect studio, the perfect client, the perfect moment… and meanwhile, creativity is sitting in the corner wondering what happened.

My talk, Just F*ing Shoot It, is equal parts pep talk, reality check, and creative kick up the arse. We’ll laugh, probably call ourselves out a little, and remind ourselves why we picked up a camera in the first place. It’s not about having all the answers. It’s about showing up, trusting yourself, and creating anyway.

If you’ve ever talked yourself out of pressing the shutter, this one’s for you.

The Power of Personal Projects - Neil Shearer

In this talk, Neil Shearer shares how a personal passion project reshaped his commercial career, and how photographers can use their own personal projects to open doors they didn’t know existed.

Date: 3rd September 2026
Time: 19:30-20:30

SummaryNeil Shearer is a Manchester-based commercial photographer and Elinchrom ambassador, working across sport, lifestyle and product photography for brands and agencies through his studio NSP.

Alongside his client work, Neil runs Rousseau, a fine art sneaker photography project that began entirely on his own terms, with no brief and no client. It has since become one of the most talked about parts of his portfolio, helping win him multiple Advertising Photographer of the Year awards and the Profoto Luminance Prize, judged against almost 250 international entries. His work has also featured in Lürzer’s Archive, one of the industry’s most respected creative annuals.

Summary – Would you like to photograph wildlife but are worried you don’t have the right equipment or simply just don’t know where to start ….

Being out in nature is one of the most therapeutic & mindful activities we can do and sharing that moment with wildlife is both exhilarating and humbling. In this presentation Jayne will take you on a journey through various overseas and UK destinations ending up in her back garden photographing wildlife using a range of different lenses and equipment.

She will prove that whatever your level, whatever your age & fitness, whatever equipment you own, wildlife really is for everyone. Enjoy the passion of this session!

Jayne, worked in main stream secondary education for over 30 years, initially as a teacher of Art & Design so she’s always been creative but her real passion is nature photography, for which she has won many awards and much acclaim. Whilst some of her work is overseas much is within the UK and indeed the town where she lives – even her garden, so she is proof that wildlife photography is for everyone – without excuse!
